Sugar Hair Removal, also known as Sugaring, is the most safe and natural form of hair removal.

Originating in ancient Egypt, sugaring is also the oldest method of hair removal.

Sugaring consists of using an organic sugar paste composed of:

• Lemon Juice

• Sugar

• Water

“Why would I choose sugaring over waxing?”

• Skin is never burned. Sugar paste is not hot, so the client does not have to worry about burning any skin cells

• Significantly less ingrown hairs. The sugar paste is removed in the same direction as the hair growth, so the client won’t experience hair breakage as the hair is being pulled from the follicle (hair breakage results in ingrown hairs)

• The client doesn't have to wait as long for the hair to grow out. Sugar paste picks up hairs that are half as short as the hairs that are necessary for a waxing length. (At least 1/16th of an inch is recommended to have sugaring done)

• Shorter hairs removed = the longer it takes for the hair to grow back. As we remove the hairs when they are at a shorter length, the hair follicle will begin to shrink. This prolongs the regrowth which can potentially lead to permanent removal of the hair.

• Beginning maintenance appointments are typically every 3-4 weeks, but as the client becomes consistent it can become maintained approximately 5-6 weeks.
